Food Market Gypsy is a culinary travel site from Cookbook Author/Pastry Chef Susie Norris.
Susie Norris writes about food and culture. Her books are Chocolate Bliss (Random House/Celestial Arts, 2008), Hand-crafted Candy Bars (Chronicle Books, 2013), and A Baker’s Passport (Amazon, 2019), which is based on the Food Market Gypsy blog, Winner of the International Association of Culinary Professionals’ Digital Media Award.
Susie served as Chef/Instructor at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts and now teaches classes in culinary techniques, baking skills, and sustainability. She is connected to the farm-to-table cultures of Boston and the Berkshires. Prior to her work in the food business, Susie was a television executive at NBC, CBS, Disney/ABC and other networks where she supervised writing and production. She is at work on her next book

Jacqueline studied painting and illustration at Rhode Island School of Design. She has illustrated over one hundred children’s books for numerous publishers over the past thirty years. She teaches all ages and specializes in watercolor classes for travelers to Chile, Peru, New England and Alaska. For this blog, she will illustrate desserts, cityscapes, market life and travel inspirations.
Tracy Williams
Tracy is the CEO of Los Angeles-based, award-winning public relations agency Olmstead-Williams Communications, Inc. She specializes in business-to-business media solutions for technology, healthcare and professional services firms. Culinary travel is her vacation (which her friends are forcing her to take), photography is her hobby, and the food markets of Europe, Asia and California are her subject.
Denise Garcia-Torres
Denise studied Integrated Marketing Communications at Ithaca College and has worked in marketing for national brands in New York. Her award-winning photography is focused on travel adventure.
